Geogrids

The basic technology of Paraproducts is the extrusion of polymeric materials around high tenacity polyester or aramid textile cores. The resulting composite products have a flat webbing configuration – a strip. The textile type and content determine the physical characteristics of the products in terms of tensile strength, extensity, modulus, etc.

Paraproducts are devided into: PARALINK^TM, PARAGRID^TM and PARADRAIN^TM.
MACGRID^TM is an extruded or woven geogrid on the basis of polypropylene (PP) or polyester (PES) with a PVC (EVA) protection.

PARALINK^TM                
A reinforcing monoaxial geogrid from high-tenacious polyester fibers with protective polyethylene coating. High strength straps are cross connected  by polyethylen straps. 
PARAGRID^TM               
A reinforcing monoaxial or biaxial geogrid from high-tenacious polyester fibers with protective polyethylene coating. 
PARADRAIN^TM           
A reinforcing monoaxial or biaxial geogrid from high-tenacious polyester fibers with protective  polyethylene coating. 
MACGRID  WG             
A reinforcing monoaxial or biaxial geogrid made from high-tenacious polyester fibers, protected by a PVC or PVA coating.
MACGRID EB        
An extruded biaxial PP geogrid.

 
PARALINK^TM
A reinforcing monoaxial semirigid geogrid with high tenacity polyester fibres in a protective polyethylene coating. High strength straps are cross connected  by polyethylene straps. ParaLink geogrids are made in tensile strengths from 200 – 1350 kN/m.

PARAGRID^TM 
A reinforcing monoaxial or biaxial semirigid geogrid with high tenacity polyester fibres in a protective polyethylene coating. ParaGrid geogrids are made in tensile strengths from 30 - 200 kN/m (machine direction) and  5 – 100 kN/m (cross-machine direction).

PARADRAIN^TM             

At request and under special conditions we are able to deliver also the biaxial PARAGRID geogrids, for example 50/50.

A combination of reinforcement and drainage. A reinforcing monoaxial or biaxial semirigid geogrid with high tenacity polyester fibres in a protective polyethylene coating. The geogrid is made by a drainage canale from nonwoven geotextile filter in the core of a reinforced strap. This drainage allows an acceleration of the horizontal consolidation of an embankment formed by fine-grained soils. ParaDrain geogrids are made in tensile strengths from 30 – 200 kN/m.
