With a little exaggeration it can be said that the EUROGABIONS company has participated in the birth of production and application of wire-stone components in Slovak civil engineering ....

In the early 90-ties the production using Italian technology of knitting a double twisted wire mesh and subsequently the production of space elements, i.e. baskets, mattresses and sacks, started in the then still state-owned PSB company in Brezová pod Bradlom. The application was clear – to offer investors, designers and contractors an ecological alternative to technologies used until then. In particular, road, railway and water engineering have been provided an opportunity to apply new economical and environmental solutions.

About 15 years later, after various property, organizational and personnel changes, the company growth arrived to a point when the foreign capital joined the SIETE-B company. On June 1, 2005, this important fact gave rise to a new subject, the EUROGABIONS company.

The new company took over the machinery and personnel from the SIETE-B company and with the know-how of the parent company has launched its activities in the Middle and South-East Europe, considerably widening its portfolio of products and technical solutions. Although the production of double twisted wire mesh products is still dominant, the company has added to its offer the whole spectrum of geosynthetic materials and prefabricated products.

However, the most important fact is that today the EUROGABIONS company is a partner providing complete technical „turn-key“ solutions. This is the main activity of our Commercial and Technical Office in Bratislava which, cooperating in particular with designers, works on the most important projects in the road, water and railway engineering areas. Being a member of the Slovak Chamber of Civil Engineers, Slovak Road Society and Slovak Tunnelling Association, the company is very active in professional activities, scientific conferences, specialized expositions and seminars which it at the same time co-finances, thus providing for a continual professional growth of its personnel and for information exchange in the construction activity area.

It is absolutely natural that our solutions are nowadays applied in a significant way also in the private sector. Thanks to their advantages, our technical solutions are highly regarded by private investors particularly in more complicated conditions and thus are becoming ever more popular.
